Climate: Buenos aires climate is mild during all the year. Its tempature is about 18ºC. The coldest month is July. During the night the temperature is very low. In summer there is warm weather and days are very hot. However, in the night, temperature drops slowly. Autumn and Spring are the most rainny seasons. Days are sunny. Temperature is pleasant, but it drops at night.
Language: The oficial language in Argentina is castellano. The most different thing is the use of “vos” (you) instead of “tu” (you) for informal treatment. English and Portuguese are spoken by the mayority of people who work in turistic activities.
Money: Argentinian currency is $ (peso). The are notes of $100, $50, $20, $10, $10, $5, $2 and coins of $1, $0.50 centavos, $0.25 centavos, $0.10 centavos, $0.05 centavos. Pesos= pounds; centavo=cent. The American dollar is the most circulated internacional currency. It can be changed in banks or exchange houses where you needen’t show your passport. In shops, you can pay with credit cards and dollars. In Argentina exists a change sytem favorable for international tourism. Dollar is accepted in the mayority of the shops. However, it’s better to make convertion in banks or exchange houses.

Transport: Buenos Aires has all means of transport able for moving to different points in the city, in suburbs and in the rest of the country. Some of them are buses, taxis, subways, trains, premetro, ómnibus for long distances, planes, etcetera.

Centres of Touristic Information: The subsecretary of tourism has its own centres of touristic information (cti). They are situated in differents towns of the city. The cti offers all types of material (maps, guids) and useful information for moving round the city.
